Chelsi & Juno

Chelsi and Juno are an inseparable duo, an 8-year-old Malinois mix weighing 65 pounds and a 7-year-old Pitbull mix weighing 68 pounds, who have spent most of their lives together. Their previous owner faced difficult times and could no longer keep them, leading them to our care. While not formally bonded, they share a deep companionship that has seen them through the years. These two offer the perfect blend of playful energy and affectionate downtime. Outdoors, they are a whirlwind of fun, enjoying wrestling, tug-of-war, and games of fetch. Indoors, they transform into devoted cuddle bugs, happiest when close to their people, whether on the couch, in bed, or under a cozy blanket.

Juno is the outgoing and confident one, always ready for an adventure. He's playful, curious, affectionate, and loves car rides. He's a dog who believes in close contact and will happily join you on the couch. Juno enjoys interacting with other dogs who play appropriately and can set gentle boundaries. Chelsi is the sweet and intelligent girl who may take a moment to warm up but blossoms into a loving companion once she feels secure. She's attentive, eager to please, and incredibly trainable, forming deep bonds with her family. Together, they complement each other, keeping each other entertained and offering comfort and companionship. Both dogs enjoy playing with other dogs and have a history of successful integration with dogs of various sizes, particularly those who understand respectful play. They are eager to meet new canine friends and generally want everyone to join in the fun.

Ideal Home

We are looking for a home that can adopt both Chelsi and Juno. An active household where they can enjoy daily walks, playtime, hiking, or adventures would be ideal. They would likely do best in a home with older children or adults due to their enthusiasm and size. Chelsi is not a good fit for a home with cats.

Ongoing Health

Both Chelsi and Juno are house-trained and ride well in cars. They are also comfortable in crates, especially when placed next to each other.

Training & Support

Both dogs thrive with positive reinforcement and would benefit from a family that enjoys continuing their training.

Transporation

Chelsi and Juno are currently located in Houston, Texas. They will be transported to their approved adopter once the adoption is finalized.
