Titan

Titan is a sweet, friendly boy with striking good looks and a pleasant demeanor. He gets along great with other dogs and will make a lovely companion. He's a big, goofy boy who loves to be with his people.

Ideal Home

Titan needs a home that understands the Great Pyrenees breed. They can be stubborn, prone to barking, and overly protective, and cannot be off-leash. It is not possible to train a Pyr to boundaries. All family members must be in agreement to adopting, and the family must be ready to bring a dog home now. Applicants must be at least 21 years old. Experience with large breeds, a visible fence, and other animals in the home will be considered. Homes with the same sex as Titan are typically not a good match, as Pyrs often do not do well with same-sex companions.

Ongoing Health

All animals are up to date on age-appropriate core vaccines, negative for parasites, heartworm and lyme tested if 6 months or older, microchipped, and have a current health certificate. Titan will be altered when adoption is finalized.

Training & Support

Titan does need to work on his leash skills, as he pulls. Some patience and training will help him improve. Proof of a basic obedience course completed is part of the adoption contract within six months.

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• Your vet and two references will be called.
• A virtual home visit will be conducted.
• Once approved, a meet and greet at the farm will take place.
• If all are in agreement, an adoption contract will be signed and the adoption fee paid.

Transportation

Titan is located at our farm and can be met by appointment only. Please dress accordingly, as meets are typically done outdoors.
