This adorable pup is Miles Laker! He's a five-month-old, 23-pound bundle of joy, likely a Pit Bull / Staffordshire Terrier mix. Miles comes to us from an area with extreme overcrowding in shelters, making him one of the most desperate pups in the US. Adopting Miles not only saves his life but also opens up a space for another animal in need.

Miles is a playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly boy who loves to play with his siblings and enjoy plenty of naps. His puppy days are filled with eating, sleeping, and playing – a perfect routine! We're dedicated to providing you with detailed personality and behavioral insights to help ensure Miles is the perfect fit for your family. Ideal Home
Miles is still very young and requires a family committed to providing the dedication, training, and socialization that puppyhood demands. He's discovering the world daily, and his personality is shaped by these experiences. A structured environment with clear boundaries and consistent socialization is key.
Ongoing Health
Miles is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines. He has also received multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. He has been microchipped with free lifetime registration.
Training & Support
Miles will need a family that can commit to consistent training and socialization. We require that all adoptive families crate train their new puppy immediately upon arrival. This aids in potty training, energy management, and the development of a well-rounded adult dog.

Miles is currently in Texas but can be transported nationwide using our USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. You can track your pet's journey in real-time with photo updates and connect with other adopters on a private Facebook event page. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
