Rita

Rita is a 7-year-old, spayed female Staffordshire mix who weighs 58 lbs. She's an absolute sweetheart, a cuddle bug with moderate energy who would be happy with or without doggy siblings. Rita has been respectful and playful with other medium to large-sized dogs she's met in playgroups. She's the best of both worlds, enjoying playtime and then snuggling up with her family. Rita's ideal day includes lots of rubs, playtime with her toys and family, and car rides. She is already crate-trained, potty-trained, and leash-trained. Rita has not had the chance to meet children or cats while in our care. Despite being found in an overcrowded shelter, Rita is still loving, outgoing, and a playful, silly pup who will surely melt your heart.

Ideal Home

Rita would love a home where she can get plenty of attention and cuddles. She's done well with other medium to large dogs. We do not know how she would do with children or cats.
