Mikey

Mikey is a sweet young boy, a delightful mix of Chihuahua and Rat Terrier, who is ready to find his forever home! He's a small, short-haired pup with a striking white and cream coat, accented with hints of red/chestnut. Mikey is already neutered, fully vaccinated, up-to-date on prevention, and microchipped with lifetime registration, so he's all set for his new adventure.

Ideal Home

Mikey has shown he does well with other animals and children under 8. While his interactions with children 8 and up are unknown, he's generally a well-rounded pup.

Ongoing Health

Mikey is heartworm positive, but he has started on a slow-kill treatment. The rescue is committed to continuing his treatment at no cost to his adopter until he tests negative for heartworm.

Training & Support

Mikey is house-trained and appears to know basic commands, making him a joy to have around.
