Sophie is a 6-year-old, 13-pound Pomeranian mix who is as sweet and loyal as they come. She joined us after being lovingly surrendered by her owner. Like anyone whose world has been turned upside down, Sophie can be a little shy at first, but with a little patience, you'll discover an incredibly devoted companion. She loves morning hugs, leisurely walks, belly rubs, and curling up beside her favorite person on the couch. At bedtime, she'll happily keep you company, though we can't promise you'll get to keep all the covers! Sophie gets along well with both cats and other dogs, but she'd also be perfectly happy soaking up all the attention as your one and only. The only thing that really rattles her is bad weather, when she'll appreciate a little extra comfort and reassurance. If you're looking for a calm, affectionate best friend who asks for very little besides love, a cozy spot beside you, and perhaps a share of your blanket, Sophie may just be your perfect match.
