Meet Dafne Doo! This beautiful 66 lb Siberian Husky, with an estimated birthday of December 15, 2023, is ready for her second chance at life. Dafne is full of love and joy, and in true Husky fashion, she expresses her affection by "talking" to you and giving the best hugs. She was rescued from a county shelter where she was facing euthanasia due to overcrowding, despite being healthy and happy.
Ideal Home
Dafne would love an active family who enjoys daily walks as much as she does. Occasional trips to the beach or mountains would be a bonus, but really, anywhere with you is her happy place! Her love for swimming is Olympic-level – she's a natural! While she does well with other dogs, especially puppies, and kids of all ages, she would also be content as the center of attention, showering her chosen family with all her love. If you're familiar with the Husky breed, you'll be impressed by her calm, gentle, and sweet nature. Her tri-coloring, with subtle brown undertones beneath the black, is truly gorgeous, even if it's hard to capture in photos.

Transportation
Dafne is located in Houston, TX. Transport is available out of state. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles. Adopters can track the transport van using the Life360 app and receive updates. Facebook chats are also available for tracking information. Please be prepared to use one of these services to follow your adopted dog during transport. Pickup locations may vary, including nearby towns or states.
