Butterfly

Butterfly is a senior, semi-feral dog with health issues who is very reserved around people. Trust must be earned with Butterfly, and this will take an extended period of time. She came to us with her siblings, Ralph and Gabby, all of us being mostly feral when we arrived and not really trusting humans.

Butterfly is still working on the trusting humans part. Sometimes, if you reach out to her, she will sniff your hand, but she does not like to be touched just yet. However, if your back is turned and you are doing something that keeps your attention off her, she will come up behind you and sniff you, push her nose against your legs, and start to get playful.

Ideal Home

Butterfly needs a very structured and quiet home. Her people will have to give her lots of love and have lots of patience, but the time will be rewarded.

Butterfly has some health issues that are being managed.

Training & Support

Butterfly is still learning to trust humans and needs a patient adopter who understands that trust must be earned.
