Meet Rover, your next adventure buddy! This handsome 2-year-old Black Mouth Cur has an athletic spirit and a gentle heart, ready to be your loyal sidekick. Rover naturally bonds with women and can be a little cautious around men at first, so a patient adopter who will let him settle in at his own pace is key. Once he trusts you, he becomes a faithful companion eager to be by your side, whether you're hiking, relaxing at home, or exploring town.

Rover loves to play fetch, run, explore, and splash in the water – lakes, pools, sprinklers, he's all in! He's also a great traveler, rides beautifully in the car, and walks nicely on a leash. He enjoys the company of other well-mannered dogs who give him a little personal space, quickly becoming their favorite playmate. He has also lived peacefully with cats and chickens.

Ideal Home

Rover could do very well in an apartment with someone who is home much of the day and committed to providing daily exercise and enrichment. Because he can climb a 6-foot wooden privacy fence, supervised outdoor time or a very secure yard is important.

Ongoing Health

Rover is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and current on heartworm, flea, and tick prevention.

Training & Support

Rover is potty trained and kennel trained, and is well-mannered in the home.
