About Bandit AW

Hi there! My name is Bandit, and I'm a female German Shepherd with a touch of Husky mixed in, making me extra special! I was born on July 21, 2025, and at the beginning of March, I weighed a healthy 71 pounds. I'm already a big girl, but I'm still growing into my paws! I was a perfect patient when I was spayed and microchipped, and I took all my medicine like a champ, especially when it was hidden in tasty wet food. I'm a sweetheart who loves to snuggle and give kisses. My foster parents even had DNA tests done, confirming my mom is 100% German Shepherd and my dad is 81% German Shepherd and 19% Husky.

Ideal Home

I'm full of energy and would love an active family that enjoys playtime and being outdoors. I enjoy chasing balls, chewing on bones, and playing with my siblings. I can keep up with big dogs, as my best friend is a Great Dane! Stuffed toys don't last long with me; I love to see how fast I can remove the stuffing and create a winter wonderland. I'm unsure how I'd do with a friendly feline, as the outdoor cat I know prefers to keep her distance. I am great with kids, but sometimes I get a little excited and accidentally knock them over, though I always apologize with kisses.

Ongoing Health

I am spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all my vaccines and preventions.

Training & Support

I am house-trained and use a doggy door. I am not crate trained yet, but my foster family is working with me. I'm also getting more comfortable meeting new people. I can be a little reserved at first, but with patience, encouragement, and treats, I warm up quickly.
