Bug

Bug is a small, long-haired Chihuahua mix who is a little shy when you first meet him. He can be nippy at first, but once he bonds with you, he'll be your constant shadow! He does get jealous of his people and can be a bit growly with other dogs. Because of this, he's not recommended for children under 12. Bug formed an attachment to his foster family in just two days, showing how quickly he can warm up to the right people!

Ideal Home

Bug would do best in a home without children under 12, as he can become jealous and possessive of his people.

Ongoing Health

Bug's adoption fee includes his spay/neuter, vaccinations, a heartworm test, and a free 1-year membership to our 5-acre ARF Park.

Training & Support

Bug can be nippy and growly with other dogs when he's feeling jealous. Continued positive reinforcement and patience will help him build confidence.

• All adoptions include spay/neuter, vaccines, a heartworm test, and a free 1-year membership to our 5-acre ARF Park.
• The adoption fee is $150 for dogs over 6 months old.

Transportation

Bug is located at our facility. We do adopt out of state, but the adopter must travel to our facility to meet Bug. You must have an approved application before traveling to meet him. Bug is eligible to fly in the cabin of a plane, but we do not allow dogs to travel in cargo. Bug can also travel via personal vehicle. We do not allow dogs to be transported "pony express style."
