Ferrari, a 3-year-old, 50-pound bundle of love, is a medium-energy dog who enjoys the simple pleasures in life: napping, basking in the sun, and keeping his humans company. He's been described as dog, cat, and kid-friendly, and his foster family has observed him politely ignoring resident cats and greeting school buses with a happy wag, hinting at a past with children. Ferrari is generally quiet, coming alive for walks and meal times. He can get a little lonely when left alone, but his foster family is actively working on this. While he's still perfecting his leash manners, he's making great progress. He absolutely adores car rides, hugs, and meeting new people, treating everyone like an old friend. Ferrari does tend to overheat easily, so a little doggy clothing is a must when the temperature climbs above 80°F, along with plenty of water.
