Lucy in Colorado

Meet Lucy, a very sweet and special 9-year-old girl who is thriving now that she's out of the shelter environment and in a loving foster home. She’s looking for her forever home and family to settle into for her golden years. Lucy loves her humans and is affectionate and connected with them. She’s house-trained and crate-trained, though not required. She enjoys curling up in her dog bed for rest and loves her daily walks. Lucy takes a little longer to warm up to men, but once she does, you’ve got a best friend!

Ideal Home

Lucy is living successfully with other dogs and cats in her foster home. She especially does well with those who respect her personal space.

Ongoing Health

Lucy is spayed, up-to-date on her vaccinations and veterinary care, and is in great shape for a senior. She has some orthopedic issues in her hindquarters that have improved but will need to remain on Rimadyl and Dasuquin for her joint health and to feel her best.

Training & Support

Lucy is house-trained and crate-trained.
