Lucy

Lucy is a sweet female Great Pyrenees mix who is about 2 years old. We first met Lucy about 2 years ago when she was surrendered to a Utah shelter for a supposed bite incident, but after her evaluation, we can't imagine her doing such a thing. She is incredibly sweet and we found her a wonderful home with a kind man and his Akbash, Zack. She was happy in her home until her kind owner suddenly passed away, leaving Lucy and Zack facing euthanasia. Thankfully, a foster stepped up to provide a safe haven for this bonded pair. Lucy can be a bit shy at first and is protective, but she loves deeply once she warms up. She's been through a lot, and we will be extremely selective about where she and Zack go, as they are a bonded pair and will be adopted together. They are like an old married couple!

Ideal Home

Lucy and Zack are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. They are great with cats. Lucy is good with young male dogs but requires very slow introductions with female dogs.

Ongoing Health

Lucy is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Lucy can be a bit reserved initially and is protective. She will need slow introductions and a patient home to help her feel secure.
