Meet Nico! This handsome black lab mix has the most striking golden eyes, full of warmth, curiosity, and pure joy. Nico's story could have been a sad one; he was abandoned at a home when his people moved away, left behind with two other dogs. But somehow, Nico didn't let that define him. You would never know he's had a bad day in his life! Nico greets the world with a wagging tail, a happy heart, and his signature move: flopping right over for belly rubs the second you come near him. It's his way of saying, "Hi, I already love you!" Nico is dog-friendly, cat-friendly, and people-obsessed. He's sweet, social, and easygoing, with that classic labby personality: loyal, joyful, and always ready to be part of whatever you're doing. Whether it's lounging nearby, making new friends, or soaking up affection (especially those belly rubs), Nico is just happy to be included. More than anything, Nico is simply a good dog – the kind that fits into your life like he's always been there. After being left behind once, Nico deserves a forever home that will never give up on him, a place where he can keep shining, belly-up and smiling, just the way he was meant to.
