Micaela

Micaela is a approximately 2-year-old Husky who came to us in considerable pain due to a fractured jaw, significant misalignment, and bleeding gums. She had clearly endured a great deal of suffering, but her gentle spirit and resilience shine through. Despite her past hardships, she leans into gentle touch and watches her caregivers with grateful eyes. Her healing journey has begun, and she is now ready for a forever home where she will be cherished and safe.

Ongoing Health

Micaela is heartworm positive and is currently undergoing slow-kill treatment. She has also had a full dental cleaning and removal of damaged teeth to address her jaw issues. She will be able to live a completely normal, pain-free life.

Training & Support

Micaela is still learning to trust and feel safe, so a patient and gentle approach is recommended. Continued positive reinforcement and a calm environment will help her adjust.
