ANUBIS

MEET ANUBIS! This handsome 100+ lb Doberman is ready to meet his new best friend! Anubis is an active, friendly guy who loves being around his humans. He can be a bit vocal when he misses you, so he would not be the best fit for an apartment and is hoping for a family with someone home more often than not. He's not aware of his own size and strength, so he would do best in a home with children in their teens and up who won't get knocked down when he gets excited. He enjoys the company of other dogs, but again, he needs a dog who can keep up with his playstyle. Anubis has many of his basic manners down and walks nicely on leash with a front-clip harness. He is very affectionate with his friends.

Ideal Home

Anubis would do best in a home where someone is home more often than not and without young children. He would also do well with a dog who can handle his playful energy.

Ongoing Health

Anubis is up to date on all vaccinations, has been neutered, and microchipped. He has been seen by our vet team.

Training & Support

Anubis has many of his basic manners down and walks nicely on leash with a front-clip harness. He is described as vocal, so he would benefit from continued training and reinforcement.

Transportation

Anubis is currently at our Dedham shelter. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. We are unable to facilitate same-day adoptions due to state-regulated paperwork requirements.
