Brunson - The Big Hearted

Meet Brunson, a 2-year-old, 25-pound sweetheart with a heart too big for his own good. Brunson's journey began when he was abandoned behind a building in Puerto Rico. For over a month, he bravely navigated the surrounding woods, encountering other dog packs. Despite being attacked multiple times for his friendly overtures, Brunson's spirit remained unbroken. He continued to approach others with a wagging tail, never understanding the harsh rejection. When rescuers finally found him, they were met with a dog still brimming with hope, trust, and an enduring desire for affection.

Now in foster care, Brunson has truly blossomed into the most wonderful companion. He's incredibly affectionate and happiest when snuggled close to his humans. He's a calm and relaxed boy who prefers cozy couch cuddles over mischief. Brunson welcomes everyone he meets with open paws and gets along wonderfully with children, cats, and other dogs. His foster family describes him as a dog who simply wants to give and receive love.

Brunson deserves a loving family who will cherish him forever. He is currently being fostered in Puerto Rico and is available for adoption throughout the United States. Transportation to his forever home is included.
