Meet Remington!

Remington is a 5-year-old Australian Shepherd mix who weighs 102 pounds, but his ideal weight is closer to 60 pounds. He was surrendered by his previous family and brought into rescue. Despite his current size, Remington is otherwise healthy and has a great appetite for life, especially when it comes to walks. He's a loyal, cuddly, smart, and alert boy who loves to play fetch. Remington gets along well with other dogs and cats and has a special fondness for children, having bonded closely with a teenager in his former home.

Remington is currently overweight, weighing 102 pounds. He is on a healthy diet and exercise plan to help him reach his target weight of 60 pounds. He is otherwise healthy.

Training & Support

Remington knows "sit" and "hug." He has become a little protective of his food around other dogs during his weight-loss journey, so feeding him separately is recommended for now.
