Meet Buddy! This fun-loving, adventurous guy is looking for his perfect match! He's about 3 years old, weighs just under 10 kg, and is a Terrier mix with possibly some Frenchie in him. Buddy is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. He's also house and kennel trained!
Buddy loves exploring the world on walks and hikes. He has lots of energy and enthusiasm. While he can get a little overexcited when meeting new people, he settles down with a bit of guidance and is eager to please. Because he has a strong prey drive, we recommend keeping him on leash while hiking in the bush. Buddy should be the only pet in the home and is best suited to a home without small children.
When he's not out on an adventure, Buddy is a total cuddle bug. He loves snuggling on the couch, curling up on your lap, and if allowed, sleeping in bed with his people at night. He doesn't love being left alone for long periods but settles after a few minutes. Due to his high energy and athletic ability, he can jump onto barstools and counters and rearrange your kitchen items in record time! He also loves the doggy pool, especially on hot days, and a strong, long-lasting chew toy is a must.
Ideal Home
Buddy is looking for an active family that will embrace his adventurous spirit while also enjoying his affectionate, cuddly side. He should be the only pet in the home and is best suited to a home without small children.
Ongoing Health
Buddy has hip dysplasia, but it doesn't slow him down. Ongoing joint supplements are recommended to help keep him comfortable and active.
Training & Support
Buddy can get a little overexcited when meeting new people, but he settles down with guidance and is eager to please. He also loves to jump on counters when left unsupervised, so consistent training is key. A strong, long-lasting chew toy is a must to keep him happily occupied.
