Florence (Flo)

Flo is a sweet 10-year-old Terrier mix who arrived at our rescue after being part of a large hoarding situation with 18 other dogs. Having spent years without much individual attention and limited exposure to the outside world, Flo is now adjusting to a whole new life. She's understandably cautious and learning to trust people, feel safe in a home, and understand that her basic needs will always be met. While some of her companions have settled in more quickly, Flo is taking her time to find her footing, and that's perfectly okay. We see a wonderful dog waiting to emerge as she gains confidence. Every day, she takes small steps towards trusting the people around her, showing us she's trying her best to understand this new world. Flo deserves a family offering the time, compassion, and reassurance she's never truly had.
