FERN (see also WILLOW)

Fern is a sweet tan and white terrier mix with a soft, expressive face and a gentle presence. She arrived at Cobb Animal Services on July 8th, and at 1 year old, she has already experienced quite a lot in her young life, having had a litter of puppies of her own at some point before coming to the shelter. Fern is treat motivated and will sit nicely for a reward, showing that she is eager to learn and quick to connect with the people around her. Like many dogs adjusting to a new environment, she may take a little time to warm up, but her sweet, gentle nature comes through more and more with each passing day. Fern arrived at the shelter alongside Willow, and the bond between the two has been a steady comfort through this experience. Adopters are warmly encouraged to consider bringing both girls home together, so that companionship can continue. Fern is waiting with that sweet tan and white face, ready for the patient home where she can settle in, relax, and enjoy a well-deserved rest after all she has been through.

Fern will be spayed prior to adoption. She is up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative.

Fern is treat motivated and eager to learn. She may take a little time to warm up in a new environment.

Fern is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008. Shelter hours are Tuesday - Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays.
