Mazzy Starr

Meet Mazzy Starr, a 4-year-old, 42 lb Yellow Lab with a personality as big as Texas! This "Blonde Bombshell" is a curious, confident, and loving girl with a heart of gold and fur softer than your favorite blanket. Mazzy adores people of all kinds, especially men, and she's happy to share her home with submissive dog friends who don't mind her being the queen bee. She's also great at free-roaming the house when you're gone, so no crate needed! Mazzy's favorite thing is a good hug, and she'll come running when you ask for one. She also absolutely loves car rides!

Ideal Home

Mazzy dreams of a fenced yard, a loving family, and maybe some moonlit dances. She's not a fan of roughhousing with rowdy pups, but gentle play, cuddles, and calm companions are perfect. She does bark at farm machinery and big trucks to remind them who's boss.

Ongoing Health

Mazzy has Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, which means her skin is a bit more delicate than most dogs. Her skin can tear easily from claws and teeth, so supervision with other dogs is a must. She is spayed, microchipped, housebroken, up to date on vaccinations and preventatives, and takes treats gently.

Training & Support

Mazzy is smart as a whip and knows "come," "stop," and "hugs." She walks nicely on a leash, though a gentle leader helps when she gets excited.
