Belle (20260429-01)

Belle is a 6-year-old, 54.3 lb, female Boxer/Plott Hound mix with a beautiful brindle coat. Belle's world was turned upside down when her owner became too sick to care for her. Despite this, Belle has remained incredibly loving and trusting, greeting everyone with quiet warmth and a soft, steady presence. She's the definition of an easy companion – house trained, crate trained, and wonderful with people, children, dogs, and cats. With her low-to-medium energy, she's happy on relaxed walks or curling up beside you. Belle is looking for a safe, loving home to spend her golden years where she can feel the comfort and security she deserves.

Ideal Home

Belle would prefer a home with a yard, but may be able to live in an apartment. She does not need to live with another dog.

Ongoing Health

Belle is spayed and up to date on all vaccinations.

Training & Support

Belle is house trained and doesn't have accidents in her kennel, but may need a little practice in a new home. She is also crate trained and walks well on a leash. She is not a barker, is not destructive, and is not food aggressive. Belle is not leash reactive to people or dogs and rides well in a car.

Belle is currently located in Kentucky. She will travel to the Niagara Region once an appropriate adopter or local foster is found.
