Because of her past, new experiences and people can be a little overwhelming for her at first. However, Steph is a true trooper and keeps trying! With a trusted person by her side, she gains the courage to take small steps forward. With consistent love, patience, and kindness, Steph truly blossoms into the most affectionate companion. She adores gentle pets, loves being close to her person, and finds so much comfort just by being near you. It's incredibly rewarding to watch her confidence grow, and every milestone is a victory she's worked so hard to earn.

Steph would thrive in a calm, slower-paced home where she can continue to build confidence at her own speed. She could do well as an only dog or with respectful canine companions.
