Vanna

Vanna is an approximately 4-year-old German Shepherd mix with a big heart, playful spirit, and loyal nature. This affectionate Velcro dog loves staying close to her people, playing fetch, riding in the car, and joining everyday adventures. She has a wonderful medium energy level and enjoys both activity and downtime.

Vanna has been trusted to free roam in her foster home and has proven respectful and non-destructive. She is spayed, vaccinated, crate trained, and ready for a loving forever home.

Ideal Home

Vanna has lived successfully with dog-savvy cats. She prefers to be the only dog in the home, though she gets along with dogs outside the house. She has been appropriate with young children but may be happiest with older or dog-savvy children who can respect her space while she warms up to new people.

She forms deep bonds with her people and thrives with an adopter who appreciates her devotion and can provide stability, structure, consistency, and clear expectations. She can be protective of valued resources such as food, toys, and attention, so continued guidance and reinforcement of good habits will be important.

Ongoing Health

Vanna is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Vanna is crate trained and continues to make progress with leash skills and confidence. She is eager to bond and learn, and her foster home has trusted her to free roam because she is respectful and non-destructive.
