Meet Kenai! This sweet 2-4 year old mixed breed girl has a truly inspiring story. She was found as a stray, bravely dragging a chain and trap. After a kind rescue, it was discovered she had a severe injury to her front leg, requiring amputation. Now, Kenai is safe and sound, learning to navigate the world as a happy tripod! Despite her past trauma, she's incredibly gentle, friendly, smart, and enjoys the company of other dogs. Kenai is ready for her happily ever after and deserves a loving home to call her own.

Kenai would thrive in a home where she can continue to gain confidence and enjoy life to the fullest.

Ongoing Health

Kenai is recovering from a leg amputation and is learning to be a tripod. She is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Like all rescue dogs, Kenai will benefit from continued training and socialization to help her settle into her new home.

Transporation

Kenai is located in South Carolina and transport to the northeast is available weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their new pet. We are happy to provide local or virtual meet-and-greets once an application is on file.
