Opal

Opal is a charming and spirited young girl who came to us under unfortunate circumstances. Sadly, a breeding with a Merle colored dog resulted in her being born deaf and visually impaired. But don't let that fool you – Opal is a spirited pup who doesn't let her challenges slow her down one bit! She has a strong desire to work and excel, just as her breed was meant to do. Opal is also a champion cuddler and is already crate trained. She has been raised with other dogs and children, and while she hasn't been cat-tested, we know she prefers canine companions that are bigger than her and can get a little feisty with smaller dogs. She's still a baby and is learning her manners.

Opal would thrive in a home that understands and can accommodate her special needs. She needs a family that can provide her with enrichment and engaging activities to keep her happy and fulfilled. As she is still learning, a home with patience and a willingness to work with her will be ideal.
