Meet Kenny — a sensitive soul looking for the right safe place to land!

Kenny is a 2-year-old, 30-pound sweetheart who has come an incredibly long way since being rescued. Though he likely never lived in a home before, he’s worked hard learning how to be part of a family — and he’s blossomed into a playful, affectionate companion who loves hiking, running, fetch, and curling up on the couch for cuddles. Kenny is housetrained, walks beautifully on leash, learns quickly, and already knows commands like sit, down, leave it, off, under, and back up. He’s eager to please and truly enjoys training and engaging with his people. He also does wonderfully with other dogs at daycare and absolutely loves his cat companions. Most of all, he’s looking for someone willing to give a sensitive dog the understanding and stability he deserves.

Ideal Home

Kenny's ideal home will be a female-only household. He would likely do best with older, respectful kids and other pets to help him feel comfortable and confident. He can be vocal at times, so apartment living may not be the best fit.

Ongoing Health

Kenny is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Kenny is housetrained, walks beautifully on leash, learns quickly, and already knows commands like sit, down, leave it, off, under, and back up. He’s eager to please and truly enjoys training and engaging with his people. Kenny experiences kennel stress, so he should not be crated.
