Meet Rye Rye! This sweet 16-month-old, 40 lb girl is looking for a patient and loving forever home. Rye Rye had a tough start and was rescued from a high-kill shelter. Initially fearful, she’s blossomed in foster care, especially with the guidance of other dogs. She's learning to trust that not all people are bad and is slowly coming out of her shell. While she’s not one for immediate cuddles, she offers a deep, loyal bond once she feels safe, and she walks nicely on a leash.

Ideal Home

Rye Rye would thrive in a home with at least one other friendly dog to continue her journey of learning to trust. She can also do well with children who understand the importance of giving her space and respecting her pace.
