Meet Athena, a 1-year-old female Pit Bull Terrier mix who is an absolute love bug! Athena's journey to finding her forever home hasn't been the easiest, as she was found pregnant and abandoned, facing euthanasia at an overcrowded shelter. Despite her past, Athena remains an amazing girl who is ready to shower her new family with affection.

Ideal Home

Athena would thrive in a home that can offer her patience and understanding as she gets used to leash walking. She is great with kids, cats, and other dogs, making her a wonderful addition to a variety of households.

Ongoing Health

Athena has been spayed and is up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Athena is a smart cookie and already knows commands such as "come," "sit," "go to bed" (crate), and "out." She is also crate trained. While she is learning to be more confident on a leash, continued positive reinforcement will help her blossom.
