About Cally
Cally is a 3.5-year-old spayed female Pitbull mix who weighs about 40 pounds. She's a high-energy, happy-go-lucky girl with a huge heart and an even bigger personality. Cally is playful, affectionate, curious, and endlessly kind, bringing joy and laughter everywhere she goes. She loves other dogs of all sizes and plays beautifully with both males and females, capable of playing for up to two hours nonstop. While another dog in the home would be an amazing bonus, she'd also be perfectly happy as an only dog, as long as she gets plenty of playtime and activity. Cally is excellent with kids of all ages and is always gentle and friendly. She's also very welcoming to strangers and enjoys meeting new people.
Ideal Home
Cally needs a home that can keep up with her energy and provide at least two play sessions a day. She also needs a crate for decompression. While she loves to play with other dogs, it's not a requirement for her ideal home.
Ongoing Health
Cally is up-to-date on all her vaccinations and is spayed.
Training & Support
Cally is fully crate trained, house trained, and does great in a car kennel. She sleeps quietly through the night and can nap during the day with potty breaks and playtime. While she is house-trained, she needs supervision indoors to prevent her from chewing on shoes or blankets. She has made great progress with food-related resource guarding and does not guard food from humans, but she needs to be separated from other dogs at mealtime. Feeding her in her crate works beautifully to keep everyone stress-free. She does not guard toys or treats. Cally may pull on the leash initially out of excitement, but continued leash training will help her shine.
