Briggs Bubba is approximately 4 months old and weighs around 14 lbs. We believe he may be a Lab/Australian Shepherd mix, but with rescue, it's always a mystery! He's a puppy with sweet boy energy who is guaranteed to bring laughter and love into your home. He's the class clown, always doing something that puts a smile on everyone's face. But beneath the silly antics is an incredibly sweet and affectionate pup who loves his people and wants to be included in everything. Briggs has a handsome chocolatey brown coat, adorable floppy ears, and gorgeous light green eyes that will melt your heart.
Ideal Home
Briggs would thrive in a home that can continue to provide him with routine, structure, consistency, and positive reinforcement. He loves having other dogs to learn and play with, and has done wonderfully with both a tiny but mighty Chiweenie and a gentle adult female in his foster home.
Ongoing Health
Briggs is a healthy puppy. He is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations and has been microchipped.
Training & Support
Briggs is already crate trained and sleeps through the night in his kennel. Potty training is a work in progress but he's catching on quickly. He already knows how to sit, walks surprisingly well on a leash for his age, and genuinely enjoys learning. Like any young puppy, continued socialization, routine, training, boundaries, and positive experiences are important for him to become a confident, well-rounded adult dog.

Transportation
Briggs is currently located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. Our transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pick up is in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time and receive photo updates. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
