Meet Roo!
This intelligent and spirited little cattle dog is ready to find her perfect match. Roo has all the traits that make heelers so incredible—she's loyal, eager to be involved in everything you do, and always ready for the next adventure. At an estimated 4 months old and weighing 19lbs as of July 10th, she's a bundle of energy and smarts!
Ideal Home
Roo needs an active home with someone experienced with cattle dogs, as she's not a good fit for first-time owners or apartment living. A fenced yard is a must, and she would absolutely thrive with another playful, energetic dog who can match her enthusiasm. She's looking for someone committed to continuing her training and helping her reach her full potential.
Ongoing Health
Roo is mostly house-trained and fully crate-trained. While she isn't a fan of going into her crate, she settles down quickly and does well once inside. She is not destructive, especially when her physical and mental needs are met.
Training & Support
Cattle dog experience is required for Roo's home. She thrives when her mind and body are kept busy, and having a canine companion helps keep her engaged and provides an outlet for play.
