Adelia

Adelia is a stunning terrier mix who came into rescue emaciated and had clearly been through a lot. She came to us dangerously underweight, and while she's doing beautifully now, she still eats like every meal might be her last. She is very food motivated. She has now fully embraced the good life and is thriving. She is active, playful, and deeply entertaining, the kind of dog that will have you smiling on a daily basis just by existing. She is quirky. She is beautiful. She can't wait to find her furever home!

Ideal Home

Adelia needs an active, patient adopter who appreciates a little dog with a big personality. She will be happiest in a home that can keep up with her energy.

Ongoing Health

Adelia tested positive for heartworms but has since finished treatment. She is fully vaccinated, spayed and microchipped.

Training & Support

She is doing wonderfully with potty training and gets along great with other dogs. Adelia is not a cuddle bug, but she will settle in right next to you and happily soak up a good face scratch. That's her love language, and it's pretty adorable. She does well with adults and other dogs, though we don't yet know how she feels about cats or small children.
