Hoagie is a 1-year-old Lab, Golden, and Shepherd mix with a big, goofy personality and a heart full of love! He has truly blossomed in his foster home and is now ready to find his forever family. Hoagie is a great housemate, fully housebroken, loves his crate, knows how to use a dog door, and thrives on a daily routine. He absolutely adores other dogs and would be thrilled to have a furry sibling to play with. One of his favorite pastimes is entertaining himself with toys! He's a silly, loving guy who wants to be part of the family. Hoagie can be a little nervous in new situations or with loud noises, so he does best with patient people who understand his boundaries and help him feel safe and confident. He is sensitive due to his past in a busy shelter.

Ideal Home

Hoagie is not a good fit for homes with small children, as loud, fast kids make him uncomfortable. He does great with respectful older kids and teenagers who know how to give him his space. He would love a home with adults or older kids who understand his needs. A semi-quiet home with understanding family who will give him time to adjust is ideal.
