Hershey

Hershey is an approximately 11-year-old, 16 lb terrier mix with a "Yorkie-ish" grey and tan coat. He was surrendered to a shelter in a neighboring county and was facing euthanasia. Thankfully, a rescue network stepped in and brought him to us. Hershey has been through a lot, arriving with severe skin infections, ear infections, very dry eyes, several growths, and broken teeth. We've been diligently working to clear up his skin and ear infections, which has allowed new fur to start growing in, though it's still sparse. While we don't know if he'll ever have a full coat, we're thrilled he's on the mend and embracing his "nekkid" look! Everyone who meets him agrees he's the absolute sweetest boy and he's already captured many hearts with his charming face.

Hershey would thrive in a home where he can continue his healing journey and receive gentle care.

Ongoing Health

Hershey is currently being treated for skin and ear infections, and has had issues with dry eyes. He also has several growths that need to be tested and removed, and his teeth require attention. He will not be adoptable until these health issues are resolved.

Training & Support

Hershey is a sweet boy who is currently focused on his recovery. Further guidance will be provided upon adoption.
