Sadie is a playful and energetic young girl with a gentle heart. She can be a little cautious when meeting new people, but with patience and kind affection, she quickly begins to relax and show her sweet personality. She loves to run, play, and especially enjoys hugs and cuddles once she feels safe. Sadie is joyful, loving, and full of energy. She was found abandoned with her siblings outside a school in October 2024 and has been waiting for her chance to experience life in a loving home. She is a perfectly imperfect rescue dog who may not be potty trained.
Ideal Home
A home with a fenced backyard is essential. Sadie would thrive with an active family that enjoys outdoor activities and has a genuine intention to rescue a dog, understanding the needs of street animals. Families with experience in dog behavior and training, or those willing to hire a professional trainer, are ideal. High tolerance and patience for rescued puppies are also crucial.
Ongoing Health
Sadie has received a spay/neuter certificate, DHPPI vaccine, rabies vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, and has been dewormed, microchipped, and tested for 4DX and heartworm (negative). She is on monthly preventive protection with Nexgard Spectra for fleas, ticks, and heartworm. A health certificate and vaccine booklet are provided.
Training & Support
Sadie is not house-trained, which is common for rescue dogs. Patience and understanding are absolutely crucial as she may have fears and anxieties due to past experiences and will need time to adapt to a new environment and people. Providing a safe and loving environment, establishing a routine, and setting clear boundaries will help her feel secure and build trust.
