Violet

Meet Violet! Violet came to us from a partner shelter in Kentucky and is still adjusting to life in the big city, but her foster has nothing but good things to say about her! They report "Violet is so great! She's very energetic and curious. She will leap over the back of the couch to get next to you for cuddle! She decompressed quickly and now follows our kids around like a shadow. She loves being around our family. She has bonded with a little cow toy and carries it with her everywhere and sleeps curled around it."

Microchipped: Yes!

Housebroken: Not yet! They are still working on learning the difference between pottying inside and pottying outside.

Crate-trained: Unknown! They have never been crated while in foster care.

Leash behavior: Working on it! They are still learning what the leash is all about and may have some behaviors that will require continued positive reinforcement training.

Dog sociability: They don't like them! They do not get along with other dogs and need to be the only dog in the home.

Cat sociability: Unknown! They have never met a cat while in foster care.

Kid sociability: Good with older kids! They are a little too much for small kids or have a history of behaviors that are difficult to manage around smaller children, but they are fine with kids ages 13-18.

Likes: Carrying around her favorite toys, cuddling with her favorite people, showing off her hops
