Cedar 6763

Cedar is a sweet, shy 35lb guy who is learning that the world isn't so scary! He's made great progress and is really coming out of his shell, though he still needs a little time to adjust to new people and situations. He's a pro with his potty schedule and has had no accidents in his current home. Cedar sleeps soundly in his crate at night and is very quiet. He's mastered leash walking but sometimes needs a little encouragement, and other times he’d prefer to be carried like the baby he is! He can be a little mouthy during play, but he stops easily with gentle redirection to a chewy toy. Cedar did well with another dog at a recent adoption event and would love a calm home with a canine friend his size to play with. He would also be happy being the only dog. He enjoys sitting at your feet or snuggling up next to you on the couch. Cedar needs a patient adopter who will continue to help him build his confidence.

Training & Support

Cedar is mostly house-trained and crate-trained. He's learning to walk on a leash and may need some encouragement. He can be mouthy during play but responds well to gentle redirection. Continued patience and positive reinforcement will help him gain confidence.
