Meet Teddy!
This handsome little boy and his five siblings were rescued just hours before they were scheduled to be euthanized. Their brave mama was named Liberty, and each of her babies received a patriotic name to celebrate their second chance at life. Teddy is a precious Australian Shepherd/Cattle Dog mix, our best guess, with a whole world of adventures waiting for him. He's still a tiny baby, but he's growing stronger every day in foster care. His mama is a sweet 45-pound Cattle Dog mix who has done an incredible job caring for her puppies. Teddy has inherited his mama's gentle, loving nature. Right now, Teddy is discovering all the little joys of puppyhood—wobbly steps, playful tumbles with his siblings, and long, cozy naps piled together after a busy day of exploring. His personality is just beginning to emerge, and we're already seeing a sweet, curious, and affectionate puppy who loves being close to his people. Thankfully, he's now surrounded by love, full bellies, soft blankets, and kind hands in foster care. Every day he learns a little more about what it means to be cherished.
Ideal Home
Teddy will need a family ready for all the fun and work that comes with raising a puppy.
Ongoing Health
Teddy will be ready to travel to his forever family in 45 weeks, after he receives his second round of puppy vaccines.
Training & Support
Teddy will need help with crate training, house training, leash walking, socialization, and all the puppy basics. With patience, consistency, and lots of positive reinforcement, he has all the potential to grow into an amazing lifelong companion. Australian Shepherd and Cattle Dog mixes are known for being smart, loyal, active, and eager to bond with their families. Teddy will thrive with a family committed to giving him plenty of exercise, enrichment, training, and, most importantly, love.
