Carmello at Prison Program

Carmello is a tiny confection who looks like an angel and chews like a gremlin! She believes your shoes, socks, and anything vaguely chew-shaped are simply flavor options in her personal tasting flight. But don’t let the sass fool you, Carmello is pure sugar at heart. She melts into your arms, hands out kisses like samples at Costco, and genuinely thinks you’re the greatest human to ever exist. She’s sweet, snuggly, and absolutely convinced your lap is her permanent residence. If you’re ready for a life filled with love, laughter, and the occasional missing shoelace, Carmello is ready to be your favorite little treat.

Ideal Home

Carmello is great with kids, good with other dogs, and fine with cats given a slow introduction.

Ongoing Health

Carmello will need to be spayed/neutered. She will also need vaccines and exams prior to her spay/neuter surgery.

Training & Support

Carmello is known to chew things she shouldn't, so providing appropriate chew toys and redirection will be key to her success.

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• If you adopt an unspayed/unneutered dog from us, you must live within an hour of the shelter.
• You will initially "Foster to Adopt" the dog and then the adoption will be finalized when they are brought back for their spay/neuter surgery.

Transporation

Carmello is currently at our fresh start prison program and will need transported back for meet & greets.
