About Gibson-Loving Life

Meet Gibson.

Some dogs are easy to love the moment you meet them.

Gibson is one of those dogs.

This incredibly handsome Lab/Great Pyrenees mix is about a year old and still carries that beautiful mix of puppy joy and gentle sweetness. He wakes up every day excited to be alive, excited to play, excited to see his people — the kind of dog whose whole body wiggles with happiness when you walk through the door.

And honestly?

There is something heartbreakingly pure about a dog who loves that hard.

Gibson weighs in at 55lbs right now and should max out around 60lbs.

Gibson adores people and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He loves chasing balls and frisbees through the yard, even if sometimes he gets so proud of himself that he forgets the “bringing it back” part. He is learning, though. Learning to drop. Learning not to jump when he gets excited. Learning all the little things humans ask dogs to understand.

But he already knows the important things.

He knows how to love. He knows how to trust. He knows that being close to his people is the best feeling in the world.

He is also doing wonderfully with potty habits and waits patiently to go outside like the good boy he is trying so hard to be.

Gibson is neutered, heartworm negative, and ready for a forever family who will see what everyone here sees — not just a beautiful dog, but a loyal heart looking for somewhere to belong.

Because behind the playful puppy energy is a dog who simply wants connection. A dog who wants someone to throw the frisbee one more time. Someone to laugh when he gets goofy. Someone to tell him he is home for good.

One day, somebody is going to look at Gibson stretched out asleep in their living room and wonder how they ever lived without him.

We just need to help him find them first.

GETTING GIBSON HOME:

Gibson is neutered, microchipped & vaccinated and would benefit from being adopted by a dog-loving person who understands he has so much to offer but will need a little time to adjust and settle in with his new family.

Our Rescue is Houston based (https://www.facebook.com/TwilightTailsRescue) and all our fosters and Rescue Ranch are in and around Houston.

Adoption fee is $425.
