Barney is an adorable Australian Shepherd puppy from an unexpected litter that was surrendered to the shelter. Born on 03/30/2026, this handsome boy is full of personality and charm! He is playful, friendly, and incredibly affectionate. Barney loves to cuddle and will greet you with an enthusiastic full-body wiggle. Like many Australian Shepherds, he already shows signs of being highly intelligent and eager to learn. Ideal Home

Barney would thrive in a home that can provide him with plenty of love and attention. He has shown positive interactions with children under 8 and other dogs.

Ongoing Health

As of 06/12/2026, Barney weighed 19 pounds. He has received two rounds of puppy vaccinations and has been microchipped. He is still too young to be neutered. All puppies will receive a final veterinary examination before traveling to their new homes.

Training & Support

While Barney hasn't mastered any commands yet, he makes excellent eye contact and is attentive to people, which should make training a fun and rewarding experience.
