With her confident nature and quietly curious eyes, Cleo has a touch of mystery about her. She's the type of dog who is confident, poised, and more of a "hang nearby" than "glued to your side" kind of girl. She's currently in a foster home with a yard, mastering her house manners and enjoying the day-to-day while she waits for her adoption date! Cleo is estimated to be 3 years old, is a husky mix, and weighs a petite 52 lbs.
Ideal Home
Cleo's dream home includes a yard, a comfy crate, and a human who respects her independent personality. Because she can be a little vocal (classic husky), apartment life isn't the best fit. If there's another dog in the home, a chill, low-energy male who minds his own business would be just fine, but she doesn't require canine company to be content and would be perfectly happy as a single lady. She has peacefully coexisted with indoor/outdoor cats, so dog-savvy cats are welcome.

Transportation
Madame Cleo is located in Texas and is available for transport to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, and Canada. Adopters in Canada will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA or Brattleboro, VT. Transport is facilitated by the rescue. There will be an additional $87 surcharge for transport. All adoptions within Texas must be picked up from Friendswood, Tx.
