Leroy Lap Lovin Brown is a two-ish-year-old Pittie/Staffy mix with a heart-shaped nose and a deep conviction that he belongs on your lap. He's pure joy wrapped in a snuggly package, always ready for couch cuddles, movie nights, or to be the little spoon. Leroy is fantastic with children, showing immense tolerance and gentleness, soaking up affection like it's his job. He's a certified goofball who loves zoomies, sunbathing, and making ordinary days hilarious. He walks well on leash, doesn't fuss about barking dogs, and adores people, making him a great candidate for apartment living, though a yard would be a bonus for his zoomies and sunbathing.
Ideal Home
Leroy would thrive in a home where he can get plenty of cuddles and attention. He's great with kids and generally good with other dogs, especially calm, easygoing females. He's adaptable enough for apartment living but would love a yard for extra zoomies.
Ongoing Health
Leroy is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, and flea prevention. He also receives a 12-month heartworm preventative injection and has been tested for heartworm.
Training & Support
Leroy has great house manners, sleeps well, and settles easily. He's food-motivated and eager to please, learning more every day. He previously handled fireworks like a champ. When meeting new dogs, he does best with a slow, on-leash introduction where he can take his time.

Transportation
Leroy is currently in our Texas-based facility. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pickup in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will be able to track their journey in real-time and receive photo updates.
