Kanela

Kanela is a beautiful 6-year-old Lab mix who journeyed to us from our rescue partners in sunny Puerto Rico! For her whole life, Kanela lived as a street dog on the island, enjoying the sunshine and charming tourists for extra treats. Now, she's ready to settle down and start her next chapter. Kanela is a sweet, active, and friendly girl who gets along well with other dogs. She's currently learning leash skills and household manners, as a life on the streets doesn't quite prepare a dog for home living. She's a happy, bubbly gal who is ready for the adventure of a lifetime, and we promised her the rest of her life would be the best of her life. Could that be with you?

Transporation

Kanela is located in South Carolina and transport to the northeast is available weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet. Local or virtual meet-and-greets are available with an application on file.
