Meet Duke! Duke arrived with his pal, Diesel, and they would absolutely love to find a forever home together!

Duke has been such a sweetheart since arriving at the shelter. He's accustomed to spending much of his day outdoors with an invisible fence, but he's been great with potty training when he's inside for the night. He might need a little extra time to adjust if he's moving to a home where he'll be primarily indoors.

He's done well when meeting visiting children, though he sometimes forgets his own strength and can gently bump into them, occasionally knocking over the smaller ones. A home with older children might be a better fit. He hasn't had the chance to meet other animals besides Diesel, but he does get quite excited when he sees other dogs while out and about. As always, slow and proper introductions are recommended when bringing a new pet into the home.

This energetic boy would love a family who can help him burn off some steam and work on leash training. He's very treat-motivated, with Milk-Bones being his absolute favorite! Come meet this handsome fellow!

Ideal Home

A home that can provide plenty of exercise and help with leash training. A home with older children might be preferred.
