My name is Michaela, and I'm a sweet Chihuahua with a tender heart and a quiet spirit. Life has been quite a journey for me so far, as I came from a hoarding situation. This means many of the things other dogs experience every day are still brand new to me. The world can feel a little overwhelming at times, but I'm learning that people can be gentle, patient, and full of love. I may be a little shy when we first meet, but if you give me a chance, you'll see the loving girl hiding just beneath the surface. Every day I gain a little more confidence as I discover cozy beds, kind words, yummy treats, and the comfort of knowing I'm safe.
