Meet Rodeo! This adorable little pup is a bundle of joy with a heart full of love. Rodeo's mom was rescued from a dangerous situation next to a busy freeway, and thankfully, she and her little ones are now safe and sound. Rodeo was born on March 19, 2026, and at 6 weeks old (as of April 30, 2026), he's already showing off his sweet and friendly personality. He's estimated to weigh about 5 pounds now, with plenty of room to grow into a medium to large-sized dog, much like his 60-pound mom. Rodeo will be ready for his forever home at 12 weeks old, fully vaccinated and microchipped. He will also be adopted out on a neuter contract, with his neutering procedure scheduled between 6 months and 1 year of age. Rodeo is a social butterfly, getting along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and children. His foster mom describes him as the sweetest pup, who adores belly rubs and playtime with his foster siblings. He's a delightful mix of playful energy and cuddly affection, happy to romp in the yard or snuggle up on your lap.
Ideal Home
Rodeo would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard or with a family that enjoys an active lifestyle to help him burn off his puppy energy. He also seems to enjoy the company of other dogs, so a canine companion could be a great addition to his new home, though it's not a requirement.
Ongoing Health
Rodeo is a healthy young puppy. He will be fully vaccinated and microchipped before adoption.
Training & Support
As with all puppies under one year old, Rodeo would benefit greatly from attending puppy obedience classes with his new family. He is still learning to be fully potty trained, but he's catching on quickly and showing great progress. He's also working on crate training, currently doing well in a gated room and slowly being introduced to his crate. Patience and continued positive reinforcement will be key to his success.
